Join the HSC and Ausable Bayfield Conservation on August 29th as we release hatchlings into the wild for the first time. There will be interaction with live reptiles courtesy of Scales Nature Park, reptile-themed merchandise, a cupcake sale, and ‘storytime trail’ about turtles. The HSC, ABCA, Hullett Marsh, Pinery Provincial Park, and Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation will have displays about reptiles, the environment, and wildlife conservation. Admission is free, but donations to the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre are encouraged. This family-friendly event will proceed rain or shine! Hope to see you there!
