One of my favourite parts about doing outreach is the letters we get from kids who have seen our Reptiles at Risk Outreach program. It is wonderful to see their attitudes change towards reptiles!

Teartols= turtles!
Chocolate Milk, Chocolate Chip, Strawberry, Birch, Dotty, and Marshmallow are all names of turtles and snakes we bring to classrooms. We tell the kids that the tiny belly shell on a snapping turtle is like a bikini- not very protective, which is why they snap!
