David Foote and his family operate a mixed farm in eastern Ontario, in what was formerly known as Victoria County. They have 25 acres of upland hardwood forest on their 100 acre farm. With assistance from the local Stewardship Council, the Foote woodlot it has become a demonstration site during local harvests in the interest of profiling responsible forest management to other woodlot owners in the area.
