The Envirothon is a competition for high school students to test their knowledge of natural resources and presentation skills.   Many local partners work to deliver a preparation workshop and regional competition (CA staff, County of Huron staff, Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation staff, and volunteers).  This year, the HSC ran the presentation portion of the regional competition at Pinery Provincial Park.   Out of the seven teams that competed, the winning team for 2014 was from Goderich District Collegiate Institute (above picture)!  They will attend the Provincial competition on May 12-14th.

Envirothon judges receive presentations related to this year's special topic: "local sustainable agriculture".
